I had to build a simple cable for my modem - the AMIGA has some non-standard outputs on it's serial port, and a straight 25 wire connector won't work because not all 25 pins should be connected to the modem. Get the RS 232 specs for the phone, and also for your Ami. From Radio Shack you can get an RS232 jumper box and connect only the pins you'll really need. Probably pins 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 and 20 (Or something like that) will do. Be sure not to hook up the audio outs and power outs that appear on the Amiga serial port. -Tom P.S. - I got an RS232 jumper box for $2 from a store called CompuAdd.
