When I try to turn on my Amiga the Hard Disk led is faintly flickering and I can hear the motor of the drive getting louder and louder until it just stops (without the usual chirping sounds it makes). The drive has been working perfectly for 5 months. I leave my system on 24 hours and cold-rebooted only about 10 times. I've tried cycling the power a couple of times with no results. Could this be the stiction problem? How can I give the stepper motor a nudge?
