You want getfnl (in 5, I don't think it was in 4). However, it's
diffent enough from your description of scdir that you'll probably
want to write scdir based on it, rather than modifing code using scdir
to use getfnl. Fortunately, there's an example in the manual that
should do exactly what you want with minor mods.
