Many times, the font name in the postscript file created on my GS does not correspond to the name of the postscript font in the printer. For example, the GS writes AvantGarde-Italic when the NTX font is AvantGarde-DemiOblique. To fix this, I edit the text before downloading it to the printer. My question? Does the LaserWriter driver or the font file determine the name of a font for postscript output? Can you edit this other than physically editing the output file? I have a IIgs and am using the LaserWriter Driver supplied with System 5.0.2. Thanks Dave dhom@cosmos.acs.calpoly.edu
