If you want to test drive a piece of software, why not just BORROW the disk from your friend and try it out, or actually go to his house and test drive it there. Why should you feel the need to COPY it first? After all, you might feel inclined to keep it! The parallel with test driving a car and test driving a piece of software is NOT the same. After all, you don't make a copy of the car first, do you? Just my 2 cents worth (actually, it may cost a little more than that :-)
