Now that you mention it, I've got a two-month-old, 100 MB, $1,800 Vulcan that suddenly has started sounding worse than my two-year-old CMS 60 that's run continuously for all the time I've had it. On investigation, it turns out that the Vulcan features a plastic fan mounted on what apparently are substandard bearings. It rattles like a playing card in the spokes of a bicycle wheel. Every now and then I pop the top to give it whack and it shuts up for awhile. ... Yeah, so sue me .. I'm not backed up. Yet.
