Hi, I'm having no luck in getting mskermit 2.32 to work on my Philips
286 AT machine.  I'm using the generic MSVIBM.EXE kermit version.
I connecting to a Microvax II running 4.3BSD Unix.  I know that
the port is fine because I have used another comm program to 
connect through that port.
  When I connect, the 'logon please' just flies by on the screen as
if my system is sending carriage return after carriage return.  Eventually
it turns to gibberish and I have to reboot my computer (^]c does _NOT_ work)
  I've tried various settings in the MSKERMIT.INI file with no
luck.  (one odd bit, the comm program that I have tested on
this port-and is used elsewhere for the same purpose- insists on
8-bit protocol, but mskermit is even worse at 8-bit than seven bit.
  any help from experienced mskermit people would be appreciated.
