Iuster) Distribution: na Organization: Interactive Systems Corporation, Naperville, IL Lines: 23 I am interested in the hardware and software(programming) specs of the XT/AT bus as well as the new EISA standard. I would like to understand the interrupt priorities, board to motherboard or board to board communication, etc. I would like also to know if there are any sets of chips that can be used as bus interfaces for building custom boards. Can anybody recommend a source of technical info? Are there any books describing the requested info, or do I have to sign my first born over to IBM to get that info ? Any help would be appreciated. Since this newsgroup is cluttered enough, send e-mail, and if there is enough interest I can summarize. Thanks, -- Dan Iuster iuster@laidbak.i88.isc.com (708) 505-9100 x322 Interactive Systems, Corp.
