My high score for TETRIS is around 38,000 (started at level 9).  The
hardest part is getting the first 10000 points after which you should
have a rythm down.  It drove my wife crazy because she had been working
on the game for a couple of hours a night for about a week to get all
of the high scores and knock me off the list and I came in and played
one game to get THE high score.

I play the game on a Standard 286 AT with an EGA monitor.
