I bought a scanner called the "complete half page scanner" and installed
it in my machine.  I have a no-name 386 clone with EGA.  The problem I
have is: the software installation program puts my display in a funny mode
where it either makes the screen blank or puts rolling horizontal lines
on it.  I would appreciate any suggestions.  Especially from those who
may have one of these devices.  Thanks,
