I have seen something offered from SUM, but it appears that the method it uses to partition is to simply write a file to the disk of the requested size and then to mangage the partition on its own (rather sloppily). What I would prefer is something that uses the partition map defined in the boot blocks of a SCSI drive. Suggestions can be sent via email, I will summarize if there is a need.
