HyperTree -- Pretty simple: enter the names/dates and a page of notes along with relationships and it will draw a nice tree diagram, or let you navigate through the family tree. Genealogy -- Pretty complex: haven't used it much, but it seems to hold a lot of information. At first glance, the interface to this beast is pretty intimidating.
