I was looking at going from PICT to GIF, transfer to the SGI workstation (that is where the printer is), and print the GIF output. When I save a MacDrawII file in PICT format, I lose the color (I guess that was to be expected). Powerpoint does not seem to have any way to output PICT, GIF, TIFF, etc. If I save MacDrawII pictures to the scrapbook, they go in as black and white. If I try to save Powerpoint pictures to the scrapbook, I lose the REAL color (if metal look, comes out as yellows, greens, etc) I am using GIFFER 1.03 (this allows me to pull in the scrapbook) Summary: I would like to take MacDraw II and Powerpoint pictures to a Tek 4693 thermal printer (cheaply). I know Tek has a postscript interpretter, but it is a little expensive. -- Louis McDonald The Aerospace Corporation louis@aerospace.aero.org
