Lines: 16 Regarding the call for ethernet cards for Mac II: I'm using the Fastnet III from Dove, and have no complaints. It supports several protocols, including TCP/IP. I found that the software seemed to be the larger of the two problems of ethernet connection. At present, I've found only one program that does something even CLOSE to intelligent in the way of ethernet interaction. I will recommend "HostAccess" by Kinetics (Excelan) 415-945-3681. The FTP on HostAccess is really great--supports double clicking and shift-clicking. Can transfer using macbinary, so you can back up a huge hard disk to a unix host with ease. Still does not understand transfer of directories, though. By far the best, and there's no other close, to my knowledge. Good luck! Florian.
