Nolan) Organization: Dartmouth College, Hanover, NH Lines: 23 Hi ho... I'm using a Cutting Edge external 800K drive on my Mac SE (plain vanilla). Just a minute ago, my girlfriend tried to plug it into her Mac SE/30. It acts rather oddly: * Upon booting up, the disk icon appears fine. * Every time you try to initialize a disk, it does so happily and then the disk icon disappears and the mac won't recognize the drive. * Running the installer to try to make a system disk on a floppy in the C.E. drive, it says it ran fine but didn't put a system file in the system folder.
