Hello,

I have a Mac Plus that exhibits the symptom of a single vertical
line up the middle of the screen. I would rather not have to replace
the power supply/sweep board at great cost from an Apple dealer.
I have seen this problem several times so it seems to be a fairly
common failure. My question is this, does anyone know what particular
component may be failing? Short of that does anyone know where a
Mac schematic can be obtained? Any help from the net would be greatly
appreciated. If there is interest i can summarize any responses i may
get. Thanks.
