   I have a peculiar problem with my 13" AppleColor Monitor. The problem is
   this: I can clearly see a dull red background with horizontal lines. This
   background extends beyond the regular desk top. Initially I thought I had
   bad video RAM. So I plugged my video card into another Mac and found that
   the video card was OK (i.e. I didn't see the red background). The cable
   checked out too and so the problem has to be with the monitor. Any clues
   as to how one goes about troubleshooting this problem will be appreciated.
