Message-ID: <2921@thoreau.ptolemy.arc.nasa.gov> Date: 9 Nov 89 19:15:56 GMT Organization: NASA-Ames Research Center, Moffett Field, CA Lines: 15 If using the Next as a terminal to a sun (3/60, if it matters), what termtype should you tell the sun you are? I added the 'NeXT Shell application' and 'NeXT console' entries from the NeXT /etc/termcap to /etc/termcap on the sun server, but neither entry gives a wonderful response, e.g. the full-next-screen window, with full-screen editing etc. vt100 gives a wonderful 23-line screen, but this is hardly optimal. Hints would be appreciated, preferably to me, but post ok. Kevin Thompson -- kthompso@ptolemy.arc.nasa.gov Sterling Software/Nasa-Ames Research Center
