Are there any special things to consider for compiling on a sparcstation? I don't recall any problems with 18.52, but you might try upgrading to the current version (18.55) just to be sure. In src/config.h, you should use s-sunos4.h and m-sparc.h. You may need to increase PURESIZE if you use the interfaces to Suntools, X, or NeWS. A Sparcstation (this one, at least) runs the same user binaries (Emacs, at least) as any other Sun-4.
