Keywords: Miscellaneous Message-ID: <2786@brazos.Rice.edu> Date: 2 Nov 89 12:08:58 GMT Sender: root@rice.edu Organization: Sun-Spots Lines: 22 Approved: Sun-Spots@rice.edu X-Sun-Spots-Digest: Volume 8, Issue 185, message 14 of 22 Multiple dumps on an Exabyte tape unit are causing problems - or rather restore is. Skipping intervening dumps using mt -f /dev/nrrt0 fsf x works for small dump files, (I've tested it at 20-30M) but large dumps 75+M, fails giving the error: /dev/nrrt0 fsf x failed: I/O error Any help, pointers, etc would be appreciated.
