Keywords: accessories,model-100/102 Message-ID: <127932@sun.Eng.Sun.COM> Date: 15 Nov 89 21:50:06 GMT Sender: news@sun.Eng.Sun.COM Lines: 28 I recently purchased the new wordprocessor from Tandy dubbed the `WP-2'. It is pretty slick, and my interest is to add the accessories available for it. Specifically I'm interested in the battery operated drive for it. I just left the local Radio Shack store, which didn't know much about this endeavor. So I turn to the wizdom of those on the net for answers to my questions... Is the Model 100 drive the same as that for the WP-2, or is there another one on the way? Does anyone have this drive hooked up and working with the WP-2? (I noticed that miminally the RS-232 cable is 25 pin rather than 9 pin.) Is there software needed for the WP-2 that comes with the drive? The available unit that was there had a bad Utilities diskette. Is the drive reasonably reliable and worth purchasing? Is there anything else that I should look at using - Cassette for example? Any help or comments are appreciated, email or post as you desire. Thanks in advance! -Jim Becker -- Jim Becker / jcb%frisbee@sun.com / Sun Microsystems ...these are my opinions, and even my id disagrees..
