It's installed as a dumb parallel printer on the port where previously I had my dumb parallel dot matrix printer. echo hello ^L > /dev/lp does nothing. The only thing that works is from inside DOSMerge/WordStar 2000 -- I can get it to print the printer description file contents. (But I can't get WS2K to find the initialization file so that I can print WS2K files!) What have I stupidly omitted from this process??? Many thanks.
