We are running on a SUN4 using sunOS 4.03.

We have a process of about 2.3 Mega that seems to go in disk.

At least this is what shows up in the STAT column when we do ps -aux:

 D	Process in disk (or other short term) waits.


 The process gets stocked. We can not even kill it. 

       What can we do ?  Any suggestions ?
