(I should have recognized the "Stoned" virus... XTREE.EXE *MAY* be a vector, however a more likely candidate is a, pirated I suspect, version of Norton Utilities. (I guess he got what he paid for..) Like I said, he is very new to the MS-DOS community and really did not know the Norton Utils from Sub-Hunter... We sterilized his drive and isolated the infected disks.
