To play out the analogy, just because a law is passed does not make it legal. I have no objection to a rec.aquaria newsgroup but whatever the technical aspects of fish keeping this is obviously primarily a recreational activity and the group has no business being under the sci groups regardless of the vote. Probably refusing to create 'unreasonable' alt groups has warmed me up to this, but until the sci.aquaria gets renamed it will join the other rejects in our junk group.
