I have had bad experiences lately in trying to upgrade our newshost from
bnews 2.11 (patch 1) to either bnews 2.11 (patch 19) or cnews.
bnews 2.11 (patch 19) builds but fails on install with the line containing
-s iuunet, as if there is supposed to be a file iuunet, which I do not have.
Then when the news came in my active file, which had 5 digit fields,
was corrupted and the news articles started to get strange numbers, out-of-
sequence.  The active file was "upgraded" to 7-digit fields.

By the way, this is running on an IBM RT running AIX 2.2.1.

On another note,  whenever I have tried to run checkgroups, I get duplications
in one of active or newsgroups, I can't remember which.

Any ideas...?
