  Yes people do crosspost. Some discussions are appropriate in several
groups, others are not. It is more annoying when the discussion wanders
from the original (possibly appropriate) topic.

  However, since the cross postings take little or no extra space, and
you only see them once with a good reader, what do you want us to do
about it? 

  It's a small problem, hard to solve because many people want to cross
post, and you seem to think it's more important than I do.
