It's important to move news quickly since our network spans two (soon three) cities throughout the province, and we have a gateway in each city that feeds news in and out via UUCP. We also use internal newsgroups to report bugs, machine status, etc. The faster this stuff gets around to all of our internal hosts, the better. -- Lyndon Nerenberg VE6BBM / Computing Services / Athabasca University {alberta, decwrl, lsuc}!atha!lyndon || lyndon@cs.AthabascaU.CA The Connector is the Notwork.
