There *was* an American release of the 12" of "The Big Sky" -- I saw it.
This might be what you have, woj.  The KB label numbers were used
only by the British EMI; EMI-America used a completely different
numbering scheme.

By the way, "Experiment IV" was also released in the US as a 12" single.

Actually, I"m curious why EMI *stopped* using the KB numbers for the new
album.  It was so neat to have _Hounds Of Love_ be number KB1 in Britain!
