Steve Salkeld, General Manager of Motorola Computer Systems, will discuss Motorola's participation with AT&T in the release of UNIX System V Release 4, including Motorola's co-writing of the secure UNIX portion. He will also give an overview of Motorola's 68030-based systems and their new 88000 RISC (Reduced Instruction Set Computing) platforms running UNIX. Demonstrations will include a 20 user 68030 system and an 88000 RISC board. The UNIX SIG is mainly oriented towards people who are new to UNIX.
