After installing Cnews on this machine yesterday, it appears that
some articles managed to get corrupted and distributed to our
news neighbours.  The problem has since been corrected, and a
bug report has been sent to the proper authorities.

I have already received mail from two sites because rnews failed
on those machines due to the corrupted articles.  I have hopes
that this means some of those articles might not propogate too far.
Also, since the news processing was significantly delayed by the
software installation procedure, it's likely that those sites
which have redundant feeds would have previously received a good
copy of the articles and thus rejected our copies as being duplicates.

My apologies for any disruptions in your news viewing pleasure.
