I wonder if anyone has a similar thing which times out after the command has accumulated a certain amount of CPU time? As far as I can tell from the man pages, this is a very different thing from waiting a given elapsed time and killing it. Any pointers would be appreciated. If it matters, I'm running SunOS 4.0.1.
