To access the GenBank entry server, simply send an e-mail message
containing *only* an entry (locus) name or accession number to the
Internet address  RETRIEVE@GENBANK.BIO.NET.  The GenBank On-Line
Service databases will be searched in the order: GenBank New Data,
GenBank (current release), EMBL New Data, EMBL (current release),
Swiss-Prot (S-P new data will be added in the next month) and the
first hit(s) returned to the sender.

To access the GenBank FASTA server, send a properly formatted message
to SEARCH@GENBANK.BIO.NET.  A help file explaining the format is
available if you send the message HELP to the SEARCH address.
