I was able to salvage all but the last part on each of the files, usually the most important one in each archive. Basically, they need to be put up again. If you absolutely can't use a protocol that checks for errors (Xmodem, Ymodem, Zmodem, etc), I would suggest slowing down the speed that you transmit the ASCII files. Most programs allow you to determine the delay between characters and lines. Thank you for posting it, I've been looking for this program for several months 8-).
