Design Div. -ColoSpgs Lines: 14 How about the modem control lines (DTR, DSR, CARDET) on the Hayes Personal 2400? There are no technical docs but a quick look with a voltmeter shows CARDET always asserted and the modem doesn't hang up when DTR(pin 20 on the DB25) is brought low. Both of these behaviors were good reasons to use a Hayes 1200 as a dial-in/dial-out Unix modem. Is there a way to enable intelligent use of these signals? Thanks! Please respond by e-mail if possible as I may not get around to here for a while. -Paul Bame paul@hpldola.hp.com uunet!prisma!hp-lsd!paul 719 590 5557
