I was using Emacs the other day when the screen locked up and I kept
getting 'Sequence lost!' messages (in the shell that called emacs).
(It only seemed to occur while I am running xsetroot.)  What does that
error indicate (and is it because I am running other X applications
in the background)?

I am running GNU Emacs 18.52 with the X Windows option, on a VAXStation
2000 under Ultrix 3.0.

Any help would be appreciated.  Thanx.
