does anyone have any experience or recommendations with low cost image
scanners for the office/DTP environment meeting the following set of 
requirements:

* low cost ( < $10k )
* SCSI (or serial) interface
* both grayscale and color capability (i.e. best if manufacturer offers
  a lower cost grayscale product as well as a color product.)
* accepts 8.5 x 11 paper (at a minimum)
* has device driver support under both ISC and SCO unix 3.2.
* optionally has an OCR package under ISC and SCO.

any help or advice would be appreciated.
