Why are people waiting for MACL 2.0 in order to get CLOS on the Mac? 2.0
must some way off since 1.3 has only just been released.

PROCYON Common Lisp already has a directly-supported implementation of CLOS
(which is integrated into all the graphics stuff). Procyon's CLOS came out
in the early summer and they claim it to be fast.
