Two books have just been published which cover the entire first year 
programming and program design course at Imperial College, University 
of London. They are:

"Program Design with Modula-2"
S. Eisenbach & C. Sadler,
Addison-Wesley
ISBN 0 201 17567 3

and

"Abstract Data Types in Modula-2"
R. Harrison
John Wiley & Sons
ISBN 0 471 92230 7

Taken together, these books give a complete and up-to-date picture of
the use of Modula-2 for program development.
