The folks at the NIC will not register a .BITNET nor a .UUCP domain. To quote the people there (I can't find the email I got, so I don't want to put a name to it): Registering a .UUCP domain makes as much sense as changing your phone number based on who your carrier is. -- Please send comp.sources.unix-related mail to rsalz@uunet.uu.net.
