Corp., Dayton, Ohio Lines: 16 I was wondering if there is a mechanism in place for the UUCP map entries to indicate that a site is directly on the Internet. If I send a mail message to a site on the Internet and that site is also accessable via some obscure UUCP path, usually the message goes through the obscure path and doesn't use the Internet. I am communicating directly with uunet. Shouldn't messages going from my site to an Internet site go there directly from uunet? Please reply to me directly as I don't usually read this newsgroup. -- _____________________________________________________________________________ ____ ____ ___ Earle Ake /___ /___/ / / Science Applications International Corporation ____// / / /__ Dayton, Ohio ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Internet: fac2%dayton.saic.com@uunet.uu.net uucp: uunet!dayvb!fac2
