"Now you try it with yours." I can attest to the durability of HP calculators. In 82 I had a motorcycle accident while carrying a HP41-C in my backpack. I took a 20 foot flight and landed right on top of the HP. Aside from a few major dings in the case, it worked fine. I used it for about a year after that before finally sending it in for a new case.
