Does anyone have an experience with the Passport program "NoteWriter" written by Keith Hamel at UBC? I'm looking at it as a possible alternative to SCORE for the IBM. I wonder how good it is at extracting parts, etc. More importantly, I'm looking for a copy of the old program to buy because NoteWriter II is now $500.00 and as a student working on his honors thesis, this is way out of my range. Does anyone know of where I can find a used copy of the first version (version 1.0) to buy, and whether it would be worth my while.
