I posted a note about NoteWriter 1.0 and received no answer so I'm posting 
this again.

Does anyone have an experience with the Passport program "NoteWriter"
written by Keith Hamel at UBC?  I'm looking at it as a possible alternative
to SCORE for the IBM.  I wonder how good it is at extracting parts, etc.

More  importantly, I'm looking  for a copy  of the old  program to buy
because NoteWriter II is  now $500.00 and as  a student working on his
honors thesis, this is way out of my range.  Does anyone know of where
I can find a used copy of the  first  version (version 1.0) to buy, and
whether it would be worth my while.
