I have a Hewlett-Packard LaserJet II+ w/ 2.5 MB memory. From time to time,
it condescends to print the Extended character set (i.e., the character
set that includes a few Greek letters, some line-draw characters, top and
bottom halves of an intergral sign, etc.). However, I have not been able
to control this behavior. I would like my printer to print in the 
Extended character set when I want it to, rather than when it wants to; I
like output from VTREE, for example, to have the linedraw characters, and 
I also like to get nice-looking printouts of worksheets from DERIVE.
Can someone tell me how to make my printer print the Extended character
set? TFM is no help (changing the character set on the control panel 
doesn't do it), and the PCLPak manual doesn't help either.
