If you have configured the spooler to spool to a particular printer, can users then choose to bypass the spooler ? (say they were spooling to their local hard disk using the background printing option) 2. If the answer to 1 is 'yes', then does a user who chooses to bypass the spooler get a genuine direct connection to the printer or does the spooler still act as an intermediary between the user's mac and the printer? 3. Can the server and the printer it's spooling to be in different zones? 4. Is there any way for users to inspect (but not alter) the printer queues? 5.
