Anyone have the Z39.50 protocol running on top of TCP/IP?

I'm working on this protocol for a few other network protocol stacks, and 
and be very interested in how people are going about ensuring interoperability
when running Z39.50 over TCP/IP.

Z39.50 is a NISO standard for Search and Retrieval (OSI application layer)
for (mostly?) the library world.
