You can plug an emulator over it. I'm not sure about TERM, but the technical institute in town is running a TEK 41xx emulator (written by TEKPOINT I believe) on top of Minitel quite successfully. (I was in contact with the system manager there when they started this, and except for having to get a driver for their boards, there was no trouble getting started.) Ian.
