Forgive me for my ignorance, but I've just learned about anonymous FTP.
I've been able to access a number of sites and have figured out how to
download files. It looks like there is a lot of good stuff out there, 
however, most of it seems to be archived. Files have names
like <name>.tar, <name>.tar.Z, <name>.Z, etc. How do I unarchive
these files once I've gotten them down to my system?
