  Hi, I've been using my amiga to run a BBS for 2 years, an amiga 2000,
with an st277N  (just bought a 296), with a US robotics modem. NON STOP!

for 2 years..  the hard drive whirs sometimes nad vibrates, but it never
has died with the striction problem.. It's also gurued out a couple times 
and screwed a partition on the drive, but that's due to a horrible bug
with my BBS program, I wont mention names but it might be called BBS-PC.


  I did have one problem, the amiga fan.. it died and my system overheated.
luckily there's a thermal switch to prevent temperatures from getting too hot.

That happened after about a year of usage.



			Oh well I think I'll keep my Amiga still
