Does this sound familiar? This seems to be \exactly/ the problem we are having -- and now that I think back on it, my Amiga did crash while I was preping the Maxtor, so this may be just what caused the problem. Did your Amiga crash/reboot while you were preping your disk drive? So, given this additional facet, does anybody have any notions as to how to cure it?
